In 2009 St. Hilda's became one of the first green accredited parishes in the Diocese of New Westminster.
In 2006 St. Hilda's became a signatory of the Earth Charter.
During the green acceditation process in 2008 the parish became a member of the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association and that relationship continues. The first faith based group to do so. The SCCA
