Light, Comprehension and Eco- Justice

The Gospel of John gives a cosmic story of God's incarnation. The Logos is the source of all creation. That light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it, cannot grasp it, cannot comprehend it.

It is good news that the light present in all creation cannot be overcome or extinguished. While it is tragic that exploitation and destruction are part of the darkness, it is good news that comprehension and transformation are possible.
