Healing Hearts Project On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, orange wooden hearts representing our commitment to every child, will be distributed and will represent our commitment to every single child to hold them in our hearts as they recover from the intergenerational trauma of residential schools. People will have a chance to put messages on the hearts which will then be hung on the chain link fence at the mem7iman Child Development Centre as a reminder to the children of the shishalh Nation that their community cares. Funds are needed to cover the costs of making the hearts and help with painting them orange. If you are interested in assisting, please contact Garry Feschuk at 604-230-3215 or Nancy at 604-740-6400.
