Ministry involves a sacred trust between the church and those who come to us for learning, healing, fellowship and love.  This training worship on the Diocesan Sexual Misconduct Policy is designed to equip parish leaders to familiarize with the topic of sexual misconduct, communicate the church's standards for good ministry practices, and help participants become more sensitive about their role in creating a safe environment.  

Components of the workshop include:

  • Introduction to Diocesan Policy;
  • Case Studies;
  • Developing Good Practices in Ministry.

All parish employees, volunteers in Sunday School, and pastoral care visitors (formal and informal) ARE REQUIRED by the dioceses to complete this workshop every 5 years.  Other parish leaders are welcome to attend.
