Services Services at St. Hilda's Sechelt

                             WORSHIP

Sunday Services
8:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist in the traditional form of the Book of Common Prayer with hymns.

10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, a contemporary service and traditional & contemporary music with St. Hilda's Choir.

Our Sunday School is available for ages 2 and over (September to June) during the 10am service.

Wednesday Contemplative Eucharist Service    St Hilda's also offers a weekly early morning 45 minute Contemplative Eucharist service where cross-traditional readings and prayers open pathways to inner awakening. As numbers increase it is hoped that the sanctuary can become a regular refuge for closet and early morning meditators to meet in community.

                                      Taizé

What is Taizé? Taizé refers to a religious community in Taizé France founded by Brother Roger. Taizé services are a style of meditative prayer that includes repetitive songs that help to direct the prayer life of the community. Taizé is an ideal way for those not interested in traditional services to connect with the mysteries of the universe in an open-minded and profoundly relaxed setting.

Taizé services are held twice a month (subject to other events happening for the Parish), every first and third Sunday of the month, at 7pm.

Participants are urged to arrive at least five minutes before start time to allow for centering time and reduce distractions for those already present.

              Study Groups

Gospel of Thomas Study Group meets every 2nd and 4th Friday Friday at 7.00 pm, in the library

                     CHRISTIAN STUDIES GROUP

Throughout the year there are opportunities for programs of educational and spiritual formation.
Our educational programs are tailored to people of different ages and stages of their faith journey, including seekers.
